Eric: I don't have a choice! Ian's in trouble!
Sweet Mayhem: Eric, your hair is white, your blood is cold, your fingers are blue, your skin is frosty, your too weak because of the spell! Let me save Ian!
Eric: ( grabs her by the arm, stopping her ) No! I can't let you do that!
Sweet Mayhem: Well I have to! I can't let you die!
Eric: You don't understand May! If you get your heart frozen, then maybe all of you will die as well!
Sweet Mayhem: I don't care! I made a promise to be there for you!
Eric: That's why I'm doing this!
Sweet Mayhem: ( stops for a moment, surprised ) What?
Eric: Remember that first time I heard Ian sing? That had reminded me everything you did for me in the past! From the day I met you to this very moment! And from that moment when Melody tried to help me and when I remembered that, I realize that same thing: You made a promise to be there for me...
