Yeah, that is the creature frozen into the seat of the ship found by the crew of the Nostromo in the first Alien film, also directed by Ridley Scott. While Prometheus is in the Alien universe it isn't a direct prequel to the series.

Man, I don't understand then why Prometheus was so bad. ><
I mean, I never saw the first movies, but I was so bored when I
watched Prometheus, and I don't know, many people told me the
first Alien movies are great compare to Prometheus. xD
I can't realize that both things were directed by the same person. ._.

Anyways, the sculpture is really great !

I actually enjoyed Prometheus myself. I understand it isn't Aliens, but It was beautifully shot and the creature design was pretty cool. The pace of the film felt more like Alien in some respects, but with a grander scale. Some people hate the whole ancient alien idea, but I didn't think it made the movie horrible. Another interesting tidbit, is that this film is in part inspired by the short story "At The Mountains of Madness" by H.P. Lovecraft.

Mhhh.. yeah for the shot and the special effects that's kinda cool.
But even the story I don't know, I didn't enjoy it. ><
I was more optimistic concerning the ship member, I didn't
expect them all to die in a very silly ways for some of them. ><'
