yeah, magic ;Dpuff! i guess this covers the basic understanding on how to do these magical shiny bubbles :] to add, you can always do this your way and take out of my tutorial whatever fits your approuch... hope its helpful!

would this also work for other tools that are not photoshop related? I ask because I don' have photoshop or anything like it. all I have is markers, pens, watercolors, and others. nothing digital.( sorry for any spelling error)

it wouldn't work directly as it's written yet im almost sure you can do the same with traditional tools (watercolours), it just takes a bit to figure it out step by step; begining with darker background...

try to think with layers - how it all comes together... and most importantly, don't try to get a 'perfect' result at first tries.
