yeah, magic ;Dpuff! i guess this covers the basic understanding on how to do these magical shiny bubbles :] to add, you can always do this your way and take out of my tutorial whatever fits your approuch... hope its helpful!

Your bubbles are amazing. I love the way you make them, but I was wondering, with the light reflections, etc, if you could explain them in more detail. I adore your art, it's brilliant. I wish I was half as good as you... xxx

you can go all technical with transparent sphere refelctions yet you can do as you think is right :]

i use photoshop and paint tool sai; brush settings always depends. do experiment and you'll be there in no time!

I tried it on SAI (I don't have Photoshop) and it actually worked pretty well since most of the brushes used were basic ones Thank you for this!

photoshop cs3. the mentioned brushes are all default ones like 'hard round' or 'soft round' brushes.
