yeah, magic ;Dpuff! i guess this covers the basic understanding on how to do these magical shiny bubbles :] to add, you can always do this your way and take out of my tutorial whatever fits your approuch... hope its helpful!

i use photoshop and paint tool sai; brush settings always depends. do experiment and you'll be there in no time!

I tried it on SAI (I don't have Photoshop) and it actually worked pretty well since most of the brushes used were basic ones

photoshop cs3. the mentioned brushes are all default ones like 'hard round' or 'soft round' brushes.
