This is so beautiful! Thank you for showing us the early stages of your work. It's very interesting to see how such a beautiful picture can be imperfect at a time!! : )

WOAH THIS IS AMAZING. It looks like a traditional painting. How did you get that "paintbrush" feel on photoshop?!

On va voir

"The harding thing is the balance between " spontaneity of the brushs" and " details ". More I will work it, more there will be details, less there will beο»Ώ movement, spontaneity and suggestions "

Something else I noticed: she's turned AWAY from them. Does this indicate the direction of the tide? Has she turned away from them deliberately? Are they chasing her -- and catching up, as well.

I think she indicates the direction

I like that interpretation. It's unlike the PotC Calypso because she is guiding them. The atmosphere you created is almost tender.
I really like this.

Who's the sea woman? Is this about sailors being "drawn to/by" the sea (literally, in this case)?

AquaSixio In reply to SEwing0109 [2013-04-22 05:59:20 +0000 UTC]
I don't know for the moment, there is a lot of possible interpretations . It reminds me Calypso of Pirates of the Caribbean scene, when she becomes giant, before she desappearing...
