Oh no, I've played it plenty, mainly the second one. Haven't played recently though besides the demo of the new multiplayer. In fact playing it so much when I was little is what got me to draw the cartoon-y versions in the first place and then, years later, sparked the blog creation

Yeah DOOM II is still very fun to play. Though I'm not so sure about DOOM 4.

I'm still very skeptical about it. I'm just not sure. I can't put my finger on why it just. . .you know. . ."rubs me the wrong way".

Oh yeah, a lot of people are getting the same sort of vibe. I got to try out the multiplayer and it was pretty fun, and the single player and snap map they showed looked rather promising

I'm not going to be like most and say that it's not like the older games.

I mean I know DOOM 4 may look a bit too modernized. But it can still be a good game if it tries.

True. Even something that didn't live up to the wait, can be fun to some.

I mean, I heard a lot of people bash on Duke Nukem: Forever. But to be honest, they were just expecting too much.

People really should manage their expectations. The game is still fun. Even if it isn't like Duke Nukem 3D at all.
