See..I'm alive....sorta....This time featuring a storyline from one of my earliest stories, where there was a big masked carnival hiding the fact the world was in danger.
Kaiba has the role of Mask of Light and had a very deadly role in this masquerade, while as the Joker (yes yes, the same FC that was after killing him in the previous arc) was his minion. Both of them played those roles reluctantly which led to a very interesting hurting/comforting dynamic between them, which was very fun to write.
(I'll end up redesignig Kaiba's sword over and over....I'm never satisfied with it.)

I wasn't planning to share more than the pic, but I'll tell you this:
2 big deities organized a tournament of a kind, 3 "masks" at each side to try and kill one another.. So Kaqiba found himself in the middle of this mess, struggling with his wish to kill a poor victim. The Joker was his "present" by his deities to help him. They both were..very unhappy with their roles, it led to tons of angst
