Description Digitally painted with Wacom Intuos 3

Just an exercise piece in which I tried to use less gradients and more low-opacity hard brushes. It's Rogue in Australia from Mike Carey's 'Salvage' story arc and I thought I'd try my hand at a motorcycle. (I don't do machinery that often)

The shrubbery was a lot of work but not as much as I feared. The bike took the longest but the hard brushes actually worked quite well on it.

And hey, I never pass up an opportunity to paint Rogue in her cowboy boots!

Holy.... well, welcome to my watch- and favorite list - really nice piece of art - and not just the supremely high technical level; the composition is also staggering mind-bogglingly beautiful! The chosen colors have a really nice warm cast, supporting the evening-serene-moodiness, and the scarlet in the sky... well, I'm very very impressed!

What software do you use...? The blendings could look like SAI... but the bevelling of your signature is a little photoshop-ish... or maybe I'm just way off and this is Painter...?

As for your question, everything in my gallery is made with the Wacom graphic pen in Photoshop. (except for a few older pieces where pencil and paper still played a role) I've heard of Painter but I've never used it. And to my shame, I don't even know what SAI is.
