Description
Digitally painted with Wacom Intuos 3Just an exercise piece in which I tried to use less gradients and more low-opacity hard brushes. It's Rogue in Australia from Mike Carey's 'Salvage' story arc and I thought I'd try my hand at a motorcycle. (I don't do machinery that often)
The shrubbery was a lot of work but not as much as I feared. The bike took the longest but the hard brushes actually worked quite well on it.
And hey, I never pass up an opportunity to paint Rogue in her cowboy boots!

Nice work. The lizard is a bit on the shiny side--and looks like it's about to hop into that tail pipe! Nice red reflection on the bike seat. Excepting the kangaroo sign, this could be New Mexico between Deming and Silver City...

Yeah deserts look a lot alike. The lizard really looks like that though. It's not really shine, more like a light green stripe that runs down his side. I'm sure I knew what its name was...at some point...
