This is soooo beautiful. I love the way you've just drawn the eyes like that, and how the fish seem to swim by like the women aren't anything but beautiful kelp or something

I love the vivid colors in this piece. The heaviness under the eyes really makes it seem as if they have no emotion, but are merely walking dolls being exposed for money while living dramatically emotionless lives of luxury. This is just how it seems to me anyway. The transparency of the fishes' fins is really neat as well, as you can see the models' features through them. I love how you captured that effect. The fish on the right also creates a weird sense of depth because it's between her legs. Great job here

Holy crap, its brilliant! hehe I like how they have no mouths. The fish are amazingly colored! But you touched this up w/ a computer, right? well nontheless its beutiful and vibrant!

I took this with a digital camera...and it faded the colors dramatically, so I had to crop out the taped edges and bring up the contrast a bit to match it's true vibrancy in Photoshop.

Hmmm, could this be a commentary on the fashion world and the insanity that envelops it? It certainly seems that way to me... Or perhaps I am simply reading too much into it.
The colors are dazzling - simply stunning, since this seems to have been done in watercolor, although I cannot tell on what type of paper. Also, I must applaud you for such control over as difficult a medium as watercolor. I have to admit, though, that it seemd a very appropriate choice of medium. The way the colors blend is part of the appeal of this piece.
This piece is indeed worthy of recognition.

It could be viewed as the insanity in the 'fishbowl' life of a fashion model; it's more on my attempts to be as surreal as possible for my Free Expression class and completely open to interpretation.

The comment from Zantan expresses what I really wanted to say about this, but I'll just have to re-inforce a couple of my own opinions - I LOVE the colour, it's so vibrant and alive - which I think is rather symbolic of the model world - many young girls look at models, and their "exotic" lives, and wish for such colour in thier own lives. I could go on for hours about why I love this, but suffiice to say, I do. Brilliant work, and very deserving of the DD.
