Wow. I saw this pic in the official nintendo magazine and thought I just had to draw it. So I did.This took me ages, and I am so pleased with the way it turned out
Please PLEASE give my truthfully honest comments on this, like what I've done wrong and how I can improve this etc. Or even anything you particularly like about it.The original picture is in the bottom corner which will be seen clearly in full view.
I guess the game and character are (c) to Nintendo.
Once again, I beg you to give me tips on how to improve my skills, and even get others to too!

I like the form of her head and jaw line and the facial expression is really accurate.
It doesn't looked traced to me so everyone who said that just sucks
Although I think that her face seems to be tilted to one side a bit (probably cos you need to make the right side of her hair a lil rounder) and her ear looks a bit long.

you could have tilted the character's head forward more, and shifted the character's eyes a little to look down further, but I like it,it's good ^^.

Ahh that's really brilliant! I have no idea how you did her hand so well, hands are my weak points so I'll have to learn off you
The only constructive criticism(sp?) I can find - from a personal opinion - would be to experiment further on the shading with a softer pencil maybe - like her cheeks, hands, nose and mouth for example. You've already proved you could do it brilliantly by her hair, the DS and her neck anyway!
But then again, I always overdo shading on my pictures, so maybe it's best not to listen to me....
So yeah, great job!

Cool! I like the shading. I think her head may be too narrow front to back, making it look a little more elongated than it should. That's the only real problem I notice, though. Good job!
