Description
This is a picture of Marvin the robot from the wonderful radio play, book and upcoming film, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I used a picture from a toy catalogue for the movie as reference.Related content

wonderful, and I agree the book is so much better, currently rereading the series. But I do enjoy the movie.

He has a pain in all the diodes down his left side. They never got replaced.
I cried a little about that. Marvin always has and forever will be my favorite Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy character, I love this!

Ah yes, Marvin the paranoid android!
Have you heard Paranoid Android by Radiohead? It's a great song based on Marvin.
Includes the words 'Please can you stop that noise i'm trying to get some rest from the unborn chicken voices in my head.'
Funny-ness.
And I love that quote!Mwheheh!

but they missed so much, heaps of jokes like at the begining when the house is demolished, and the enlightened liberal cops who know all about sensitivity and everything, shooty and bang bang, and the philosophers, and Zaphod wasn't quite that stupid and didn't say come on all the time and have a silly southern accent (listen to the radio play, it came first), and Arthur was more intelligent and articulate, Jack Davernport would have been a much better choice, and theres no way that Marvins head could fit in a bucket (I still like the design though, but it just isn't going to work) and Arthur is suposed to end up with Fenchurch in the fourth book not Trillian, dispite the fact that they have a child named Random in the fifth, theres no relationship there, and and and well lots of things. Sorry, I have been a fan of Hitchhiker's since I was 11 and you can't help but be dissapointed when in film adaptions people decide change a lot of the things you loved about it. I do actually own it on dvd, I was dissapointed they bearly mentioned Douglas on the making of, but the audio comentaries were good. I guess they did a good job of making a movie out of it, I mean it is good, but I still prefer the radio play, get that if you can, your missing out on a lot.
sorry I'm ultra obsessive
