This is actually 4 scenes mashed into one, so transitions are a bit strange and movements had to be mixed strangely to make it look right. Camera setup is far from what is being used in final. Hell, since this was rendered, the scene was refined quite a bit more.

But it makes me sad... because Fallout: Equestria had the potential to be great, but they didn't mix the lores right and make it something epic... it just feels like a lazy ponification of Fallout 3...
I WISH Fallout Equestria was good... but it just isn't...
...Especially since I love MLP and love Fallout... big fan of both.
But I digress. Very well done, very cute, almost makes me want to get back to SFM.

Well, if you didn't like the original Fallout: Equestria(which is pretty weird to me since you love both Fallout and MLP), you can always read the side stories which are, in most cases, totally original stories setting in the same universe.

That's the thing. The universe sucks.
I mean, fucking "High Pegasus Enclave"? "Megaspells"? Calling "Vaults".... "Stables"? It's just lazy ponification of the lore.
I can't take it seriously. I can't understand WHY people take it so seriously.
Write a GOOD mixture of pony and Falllout lore that MAKES SENSE and maybe I'll like it.
You don't just jump from fantasy to Atompunk without a good transition. And the fact that the Mane 6 were important people in this "war" is just a silly idea. You'd think they'd all be dead by the time the war started, because it shouldn't stat in their lifetimes....
Too many cute horse puns for something mean to be taken seriously, for one. And the "Megaspells" having the exact same effect as an atomic bomb? That's just silly. It's MAGIC, it's not supposed to be like anything in real life, as much as you want to try to cram it into a Fallout setting...
It just doesn't work for me.
Not to knock it for people who DO love it, I just don't like it.

I totally respect the fact that you didn't like it, but I doubt you went really far in the story with the information you gave me. Megaspell? You mean Balefire Bomb, and it's zebra alchemy, not magic.
But I respect your opinion and I'm not trying to force you to read it because I'm pretty sure you won't like it anyway. I'm just saying you don't know a lot about it.

I read a little, and explored the wiki quite thoroughly to see if it was any better.
The Zebras apparently stole the tech or something.
Still, the fact that a bunch of simple ponies from Ponyville being important people in the war seems unlikely and kinda silly.
It doesn't seem like a fic I would like at all, even if I knew more.
Is the writer a Fallout fan that's played 1, 2, and 3 (and hopefully New Vegas) before writing?

I don't know a lot about Kkat, but he knows a lot about Fallout 3 for sure.
The reasons the Mane 6 became important is because they had a close relashionship with the princesses and they were the bearers of the elements.
Anyway, in the end, it doesn't matter whether you like it or not. Everyone has his opinion.

Yeah. It's just a real shame it didn't work.
It tried too hard to be serious, IMO.
You can make something cute turn more dark and serious, but it takes a lot more work than just making everything in a serious/dark game into ponies.
