I was dumbfounded. Never had anyone offered me anything close to that to wrestle for their promotion. I was lucky to get a few thousand, or enough to cover medical bills after a match at some place.

But one hundred thousand dollars??

"...Are y'all serious?" I finally stammered, finding my voice. "Holy cats on a hot tin roof is that a huge chunk o' change! I'd wrestle for a klondike bar you know, I don't need that much!"

Valery nodded, though still slid the check over to me. "Just think about it. Yes or no, the check is still yours for all that you have endured well here. I hope it is a yes. Let me know something in the next couple days?"

Did I really need a couple of days? All my time spent in NHB flew through my mind. The match against Trixie, working with Maggie, getting to know ladies like Jessika. Heck, even Blake was starting to grow on me...a little. To be able to spend more time with all of them, even if Emi was in charge.

Emi...I thought about this match, and how it would be a perfect opportunity to get back at her...

"Val, I don't need a couple of days. I can give you my answer tonight."
