I think this is my first real attempt at a repetitive tile background c: we will see how it worksRelated content

The drawing are absolutely adorable, one thing I did notice however is that the grumpy flutter that is cut in half is not cut in a way that would tile properly. What I suggest to fix this is make the drawing in full then cut it in half or whatever amount you want and position it on either side of the tile, use guides to keep it in the right spot. Personally the colouring coming out of the lines can be kind of distracting with this kind of drawing.
The style is wonderful for this kind of work and the expressions give it much more emotion. I love the little bubbles and they add something to tie the whole thing together.
It is very nice overall, it's just work on the cutting of the character so it has both sides of the character cut in a way so when it tiles it would be the full character and not slightly warped.

Does it seemed warped like you described? I dont think I understand what you meant when you said that the images that were cut in half wouldnt tile properly.

Oh of course from what I can see on both sides you can see where the ear connects

also i used wix's tile option just as a quick test becasue it works pretty well and it looks like this when I do that Β
I also used the offset tool in gimp to do this, I offset it by the width of the pieceΒ
Though it looks like what you have there works great though, I was just working off the deviantaion, and I thought I would mention that becasue it does skew the image.Β

They are absolutely adorable. I love the cute style of them as well and the many emotions they have. A cute floof. Also dat shining though on them cherries? You have really good style and talent and you could definitely sell this adorableness, people will love to have something as cute as this. It's really simple and funsy looking, it's just soooo cute. The anatomy is also well done on this cutie chibi style, kinda makes me think it's like a little pokemon. I love the sleepy one on top, you are very good at drawing in different angles, very impressed. XP
