Thanks ...I was hoping to make the effect more embossed without detracting from the metalic texture beneath it but I just couldnt get it to work

A plane subdivided in about 20 loops in X and Y, with bevel and subsurf modificators.
So, I extruded the faces in the plane, to do the metal parte.
The metallic material has the mirror property in 0.8.
The light are 4 common lamps (of diferent colours) and 1 sun, with
Ambient Occlusion and Indirect Light turned on.
