A bit late to this trend/challenge (been distracted/busy with work/lazy as heck) but finally got around to drawing an Olympics pic.
Been wanting to draw one of my characters in Olympics gear taking part in the games ever since Mario and Sonic at the Olympics Tokyo 2020 released last year (and which I have yet to play XS). With the recent Olympic games happening the discrod server I'm on had an art challenge to draw our OCs taking part in an event or more. That challenge was weeks ago and I missed out entirely due to before mentioned distractions/work/laziness. But fortunately they got a Past Art Challenges room on the server.
Anyway, here is Ruby taking part in the Wall Climbing Event. Whenever I try to imagine what gameplay my characters would be best suited for, I had Ruby being in the Adventure Knuckles/Rouge treasure hunting levels where you follow a radar and climb, dig and glide around to find treasure. So Climbing made snese for her as an event.
Went a bit fast and simple with the shading on this compared to previous pics as I wanted to get it done quickly. Got other hobbies I want to get on with.
