Personally, I'd bet on Big Boss winning, but not a large bet. I've yet to see the 'Evil Dead' movies, and will admit my choice is partly due to favoritism.
That said, such a crossover will be AWESOME BEYOND WORDS. Let's have Big Boss and Ash as player characters, versus Soviets- or rather, proxies in [insert terrorist group's name]- who're using the Necronomicon to raise an immortal army, with which they'd wipe the US off the map. Include a demonically possessed Metal Gear as a boss- see 'Gaunt's Ghosts' and the scene where a demonically possessed BATTLE TANK hunts the Colonel-Commissar and his team.

yup, I say it's a pretty fair fight, but with a small advantage to Big Boss.
that's a pretty cool take on the crossover idea, I never thought of it that way haha.
