I really like this guide/tutorial.
It's short, sweet, and to the point and quite informative by giving more than one example of real life bird wing types.

Awww,thanks! I really did try to include every aspect of wing design for this, and the book listed really is amazing. I got it in my library, because you really only need it to learn the shapes, then for a quick reference after that.

I agree, it's alot easier to draw once you know the general shapes that make up whatever you're drawing.
