Description
Edit- cropped and enlarged.*wipes brow*
This one took me on a sort of whim, then I couldn't tear myself away from it long enough to do anything else I enjoy - reading, shopping, etc.
I had to put a new back end on the horse. Thought about pimping him out in chrome, adding a new grill, putting a four inch lift..
Third installment of the Elemental Horses series.
Elemental: Water
Elemental: Fire
It's... different! But hopefully it'll be well recieved. I thought about putting mice, butterflies, birds, etc in with her, but... Ya know, it just got to be too much. I didn't want to distract away from the horse itself.
CLOSEUPS -- please check them out if you have the time and inclination. A lot of work went into the details; I almost left the picture as a portrait instead of this.
Dedicated to everyone who nurtures, be it plants, animals or people.

Hello,
I hate being the bearer of bad news, but I would like to inform you that your beautiful piece of art has been stolen and uploaded here at this [link] where it is being claimed as that person's own, and is being offered as a free wallpaper for anyone to download and use as they please from that website. It appears that your artist signature has been removed from the image, as well.
In fact, it appears that there are A LOT of users on that site who have stolen artwork from artists here on DA (my own, included), and I as well as a bunch of others are doing our best to inform all of the artists who we recognize stolen artwork from on that site (if you would like, check out my latest Journal Entry on my DA page for more information, including information on how to have your artwork removed from that site).
I thought that you would like to know.

So beautiful. The colours are amazing, and the hand-painted vines, flowers etc. are exceptional.

I know you did this quite a while ago, but every time I look at it I just have to marvel at the detail and pure muse poured into it. I love mostly all of your graphics, but this one by far speaks to me personally. I'm a tree hugger and nature lover, and when I look at this it reminds me that the balance of the wild seems so shaky at times and perfectly in tune during others. It literally looks like she came from the earth; and as I look at her, I dont necessarily want to go up and start petting her all the while saying 'HORSIE HORSIE HORSIE UR SO KYOOT'. It gives off the truthful and distinct vibe that while nature is beautiful to look at, it is also incredibly dangerous and meant to be deeply respected. I love your closeups. I hope to one day be as good as you at putting your ideas down so exquisitely.

I love all your element pictures but this and fire are my favourite as they look more like their 'apart' of their enviorment...does that make sence? Its a FAB picture =] and i LOVE your work, one tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny peeve...the horn...I dunno why but its buggin me. Its not a natrual thing and the pic is so natural...just the horn...ARGH!
Im sorry =[ feel abd now but other that its fabulous =] you amaze me. =]

This one is also really beautiful!
How long have you been working on this?
There are two things I want to say about this photomanipulation; The eye is a little bit creepy, I'm scared of it, and maybe it's better to darken the horse a tiny bit, so it will fit in the picture perfectly.
(Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Holland )

When you buy a print, is the text still there?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
arrsistable In reply to Fiery-Solace [2009-01-20 12:35:30 +0000 UTC]
It's muted and situated lower in the earth on the print: [link]
If you're seriously interested in buying it and don't want it there at all, let me know and I'll be happy to remove it for you.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm buying it or not, but I LOVE IT so much. So I'm considering it, and I'll let you know when I'm decided about that.
If I were to buy it, I would prefer no text
