I'd like to offer my observations.
in this series of works at different times of day, I feel like there is a great deal of depth missing.
In my observations of scenes at different times, I have found that the entire shape of areas is completely transformed. different elements of a scene will 'pop' in different lighting conditions. i your scenes, the same features are dominant in each time-frame. I feel like this reduces their depth.

in the bottom left, the space under the arches are glowing and calling out to us while the roof is subdued. top left, the done is very dominant. it looks as if it is reaching for the sky. top right gives a feeling of depth with hte facade reaching out i front of the other elements. bottom right is accentuating the angles of the side walls .
Each image gives a different focus, my eye is drawn to different elements and shapes and it gives me a vastly different emotion.
I like to see your works, they always inspire me and I am very keen to see more of this kind of work. I am looking forward to how you improve!!

You probably don't understand how commercial works going. Here the specific tasks and wishes of the customer, as well as the changes coming in the process of creation. Sometimes good ideas are rejected by the art director so he has another idea. In addition, in the game itself, 70% of this background is not visible due to the characters in the foreground, characters also dont have day-night shading, so bg's should not be too contrasting.
Experiments with light are good in personal creativity, but in commerce very few people care about "artists feels and deep emotions".
