This is stunningly beautiful...as a Pom lover, I am awed at your skill in capturing this cutie's softness and adorableness.

You're really getting good at that soft fur effect. And I love the eyes.

Commissions are sometimes such a pain because it is not what we would necessarily draw but you did such a great job on this, I love your shadow colours in this! Pebbles is so cute, and I love how she got her name

Beautiful work and props for working so small, I know that's tough!

Thanks, small is tough and I got things too close to the edge. They really like it, and I'm so glad.

The eyes don't seen to have as much life as they usually do with you pieces, dunno why. The puppies eyes also seem a bit weird...
Noooooooow, I love the background, I love their noses, I love their ears, I love their paws, I love their whiskers, very very cute

Probably because it was a larger picture I worked from and I copied what I saw rather than making it up to create the sparkle I wanted. Thanks

You have to consider the size of this though, it's really small. Much smaller than the "full view" that we are seeing.

She expects/wants me to be critical of her work go back and look at previous pieces and you'll see what I mean. So I pick out every single thing that I can find
I have MASSIVE respect for her talent, haha

Yeah, I know she asked for an advanced critique. I was just saying, it's really small.

Hmm. Thanks. It's a commission.
I must say I can't get excited about it, but she really liked it and that's good. I like doing drawings that make people happy, but at the same time I've got to say I'm not really thrilled with the idea that the last few drawings I've done have either been people or pet portraits. I'm not really a portrait artist, I don't think. But no one here wants to commission a fantasy or even a still life or landscape. I have another coworker that wants me to paint her 4 deceased dogs in oil.........

Such beautiful work I can't believe you have such detail in a 5x7painting.
I bow to your talents
