Thank you.
Just oil paint blended lightly away from the center of the point of light.

Is this "God" figuring the math out for the universe?
Or a famous Mathematician that I should know of?

I don't understand why this has not gotten more comments, etc..., as it is a wonderful painting.
The subject is intriguing, and made even more so by the fact that you didn't spell everything out. Rather, you allow the viewer to draw their own story from the painting. I feel I want to stare at it while my mind drifts among the stars, contemplating what, exactly, he is jotting down on that little piece of paper.

Thank you very much.
After reading what you wrote I wish I hadn't said anything about what was on the papers in my reply to Roadless-I-Travel.

You're most welcome.
Ooops! Sorry about that. Are the words visible when the painting is viewed in person? They are not in the photo.
Hey! I think you can hide your reply/comment so others can not read it. I know I can on my submissions.
Now I have to go and brush up on my Latin.

Yes... the words on the paper are very visible when seen in person. The painting is large enough for the words to be read. They are readable from the point of view of the figure in the painting, (up side down to anyone looking at the painting). They are written in Latin because I wanted to leave the overall impression of the painting up to the viewers personal interpretation and most people don't read Latin, and what is written on the papers is a personal message to someone very dear to me. The very curious art appreciator that reads Latin or bothers to translate will, I hope, find a little deeper meaning in the painting than the casual viewer.

A lovely sentiment, further enhanced by the subject in the painting. A universe encompassing love for a special someone.

Beautifull painting! But I would'nt have put this guy just in the middle... A little more on the left and it would have been perfect

Thank you, I appreciate the complement.
And, He is slightly to the left. What is closest to the center of this painting is his heart...
