Description
Some fairly obvious symbolisms in this one, I didn't try to hide much (pun intended). As usual, rendered in Vue, characters prepared with Poser and Zbrush and I added a new toy to my collection now, MarvelousDesigner2. The cloths were prepared there.

Very nice. Love what you did with her clothes and I like the symbolism of the apple and time.

Beautiful render, I am waiting as well for the mac version on MarvelousDesigner. Did you buy the professional version? Which part of this did you model in ZB? I am still trying to figure the whole to ZB and back again steps. You do beautiful work, my favorite part of this is how the light plays across the fabrics, and her skin. I love the way you have the very dark next to the very bright white, reminds me of The Dutch painters from my art history.

Thanks!
I bought the personal license of MD2.
ZB was used to fine tune the various cloths (including her blouse). Even in the highest resolution, the cloths in MD2 are not as high-rez as I like so I take the cloths to ZB, increase poly count and apply some smoothing.
Workflow between poser and zb is pretty straightforward. I export a scene from poser as obj, all objects included, do a simple import in zb, adjust whatever I like (like smoothing the cloths), isolate the object I want to export (by whatever method) and then export it. In poser I just import this obj and it falls exactly in the right place in poser. No tricks. If you have some specific doubt just send me a note and I'll try to help.

Welcome!
Amazing, that is way more simple than the tutorials I have seen. I will give it a try. thanks so much. Have you tried this same method with V4 and the other figures as well?

ArthurBlue In reply to kkyak1 [2011-02-24 09:03:48 +0000 UTC]
Yes, I use this method for everything, including V4, M3, H3 and K3 (all the figures I use).
There's only one circumstance where this method could fail: if inside Zbrush you split the figures by subtools (head in one subtool, arms in another, etc). If you do this and add another subtool of your own and export it, it won't fall in the right place in Poser. But if you don't do the split of the figure, you can add your own subtool (for example, by using the extract method or zspheres/rigging/edit topology method) and when you export it, it will land in the right place in Poser. (note: I still use Poser 7)

Thanks so much! Sorry for not replying back sooner. I Imported a M4 obj and used the extraction method to make some chest armor,
so I got side tracked playing in ZB drawing details on the armor. And have not gotten back to trying what you suggested. And I just started working a new job and have not had a chance to jump back in there. I so appreciate your help, and will let you know how it works for me, dropping it back into Poser.

This particular keeper of the sands of time does not appear to be known for her patience from what i sense. She looks as if she seriously contemplates a course of action leading to a new path that may well alter the established gait of how time marches on. This High Priestess so intently studying her forbidden fruit looks to me as if she is late to a hot date of her own making and has determined to take matters into her own hands and proactively wind the hands of time to suit her schedule, even if it means hell for al the rest.

Thanks.
MarvelousDesigner2 is an independent cloth simulation application. It can import and export from/to Poser, among others. Google for it and you'll easily find it.
