Can't wait to play around with these more! I have a lot of things I need to work on and perfect. But first I have to finish my functioning musical carousel. I was hoping to have it done in time for the contest, but I don't think I'm going to have time =\This was made for a contest that The Unicorn Masquerade is having. You are only allowed to use 3 colors.
This stands a little under 4.5 inches tall and is made from polymer clay, gems, foil and wire.
I can't wait to make more of these! I think I'm going to try and give my next ones flowing manes and tails, that's going to be tricky but worth it! I see lots of carousel critters in the future!

Thank you! Those ruffles took me a couple tries to get right. They kept ripping apart as I was fluffing them out, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.

Thank you! I almost didn't submit it because it turned out so similar to yours =\ but I figured it's hard to make anything without it looking somewhat like anything else anyone has ever made. And yours looks a lot cleaner and more beautiful than mine! I'm excited to look at your gallery when I get a chance.

Thanks! I wouldn't worry about it looking like mine....I mean how many different ways can you do a carousel horse....its an equine with a pole through it usually on a base.
I wouldn't say mine is better....I think they each are different, and have a unique style to them. Besides we both went in different directions, Mine is a lot smaller then yours which means you were able to do a lot more detail work then mine.
