Description ENG: Another sketch from my winged creatures story. Here is Gabriele, with one of the six human princes, Dacian. He is a sharp-witted, sarcastic individual, and a lot of the time the expressions he uses and his sense of humor go right over Gabriele's head.

As an ambassador of sorts for her species, Gabriele learned their language just fine but the little details still elude her. After one of Dacian's usual sarcastic remarks Gabriele gets a little frustrated. She likes to poke him and wonder why on earth a species that looks quite similar to hers can be so different. And Dacian, who has a hidden soft spot for her, doesn't mind the touching.

Also, Gabriele's species is much smaller than humans, so she's actually standing on a pedestal to reach his nose

Not sure about the composition, and background isn't great but I had a lot of fun with it~

*fave'd* ... and I don't know how I missed doing so earlier. Her inter-species frustration comes across in her facial expression, her pointing, and the language of her whole body, including her wings.

So "similar" to her own species ... yes, that's the feeling of close, plausible, and quite realistic variations on a human theme that I especially value in winged works.

What you've managed here, though, is to have it go in both directions. He's clearly intrigued by someone so similar to himself, yet attracted to the differences. Too many humans are too insistent on smaller differences, far smaller than wings, pushing us apart. These two are on a world that ought to be.

I'm so glad all of the things I was trying to get across you were able to see And yes, I'm a bit fascinated by bringing people of different backgrounds together, the understanding and the learning that can take place!
Of course it's not always positive, but sometimes it can be really great to see things in such different ways
Thanks
