Description
This is a really big file, haha! Sorry if it takes forever to load.Someone asked me to upload some process shots for "Morning Mist"! This is how I go about making my art.
Pictures like this start out as pencil drawings on bristol board, which I then scan in and clean up. I have to bump up the contrast and lower the brightness in order to reveal all the details... which also causes a lot of other icky stuff to show up which usually isn't seen on the actual pencil drawing. Also, apparently my scanner has fuzzies on it! :C
By the time I've drawn and cleaned up the picture, I've already put around 8 hours of work into it.
Then, once everything is cleaned up, I set the pencil layer to multiply and begin to paint underneath it!
Thank you for looking! If anyone wants me to explain my process further, feel free to ask questions! ♥
