openCanvas 1.1 Description:
openCanvas 1.1 is a free drawing program made (but no longer supported) by PortalGraphics . It supports layers and tablet use; layer modes are limited to Add, Subtract and Multiply. openCanvas 1.1 can network to enable two users to draw together. It has a unique "playback" feature allowing users to save and share event files; this means you can watch the process of a drawing from start to finish if you have the event file. Commercial releases of openCanvas (or oC) have the event file/playback feature but cannot network.

OpenCanvas Community on DeviantArt
-A DeviantArt community devoted to OpenCanvas. Unfortunately it's been inactive for many weeks, but it seems like some of the members keep an eye on the place, so you can often get help by leaving a comment. Also, people can add tutorial links by simply commenting on the community's OpenCanvas resource deviations, so the resources can still be "updated," sort of.
