Thank you very much. It's always a challenge to make "busy" covers like this work.

Aww, thanks! I just designed the typography for the title, so I'll probably have an updated cover posted soon.

Wow, thanks! If it's any consolation, sometimes I find gouache very hard to work with too!

Very nice cover, man. Almost feels like some sort of optical illusion. Love it!

Hey thanks, man! That means a lot.
From now on, I'm going to work less with gouache and focus more on working with Copics. I'm still trying to get the hang of these things.

Amazing composition!
Umm... since I'm not well versed in history, do you mind telling me who are the people on the stain glass so I can search them up?

Thanks a lot! I'll get back to you once I figure out the correct spellings of the characters above. They're all real figures from History though!

Hi, again!
Okay starting with the hanged man: Captain William Kidd [link]
(moving clockwise) Henri d'Aramitz [link]
Doamna Neaga [link]
The female character standing above the urn is fictional.
Agustina de AragΓ³n [link]
and that giant in the tricorn hat looming above her is Peter Francisco.[link]
Those links should make your search a little easier.

Thank you so much! Wow, you even provided links!
Hmm... all these figures seems to be people who's actual life have been shrouded in mystery at one point or is greatly mythified.
...I suppose our historian here is trying to figure out the truth? Or perhaps she would perfer to imagine the untold stories instead?
The image is once again, stunning.

Wow. That may be the most insightful comment I've ever received about a piece of work! Thank you very much. I'm amazed at how much you were able to interpret from this picture and those links. You're pretty much spot-on with your analysis, by the way.

It means you did a good job as an artist.^_^ You made the illustration interesting enough for me to WANT to interpret it.

It was awesome! The opening night at the gallery (our campus now has its own awesome gallery~) was PACKED, and many people came up to me and said how much they loved my work. It's nice to have had at least one concrete "show" in my life, since I'm unsure about how much I want to continue with art past school...

Oh, that's awesome! That'll probably be a night you'll remember for a long time. And I hope you keep pursuing art in some capacity after you finish school. You're one of the only watchers I have that's consistently given me insight and feedback about design aesthetics. That's so rare for dA.
