Yes, a couple of hours in bed with Shepard definitely invigorated him, don't you think?. His features are much softer.
Oh, by the way the romance patch is made on another character's romance since our Admiral unfortunately isn't OFFICIALLY romanceable. But the way both of them simply turns and leaves after talking about Cronos on QEC, or even later when Shepard is onboard the Cerberus station and Hackett says he wants her out alive - aligns very well with some sort of behind the scenes "having got to know each other on a personal basis".
But of which we don't get to know more about.

And what he says to her while Shep is on Cronos is quite the thing really, even if he says it with a professional voice. It also depends a little on what background we as players have chosen beforehand, but the meaning is the same. "I want you to come out alive, so don't take unnecessary chances please."
And with a male (hetero) Shepard it becomes more of a kind concern of his favourite commander and special forces operative.

But with a female (hetero) Shepard, the entire situation opens up for more options of interpretations. Especially as there are a whole lot of other "weird" things Hackett does and says to Shepard during the trilogy...
