No, he doesn't have a mane... and his ears look a bit like horns, too - If they aren't actually horns...
I dunno... Some kind of cat-like species, I would say... XD
Then again, he could be of no particular existing species, just like my Mimic (Somebody I'm waiting to post until I get the chance to finish up my fourth and final character, even though I've pretty much finished Mimic up, already... 
He sorta looks like he wants to kill somebody... XD
