So heres the story about this:
about a week ago I found a song called "Ruled By Fate" done by someone I never heard of before, Among The Herd. It was about Twilight being Immortal because shes an Alicorn and outliving her friends, I also found the song shortly after rewatching season 3 ep 13 and Season 4 ep 1 and 2. I always enjoyed the "Twilight's immortal" songs(AKA most of 4everfreebrony's songs)/stories, I always thought they was really interesting even know it will never happen in the show. The song gave me an idea I wanted to try to make, and here it is. I don't do many posters about sad topics like this one.
The Twilight statue was my first time changing a texture of a pony model, because there is no statue of twilight model out there. I think it turned out pretty well even know I just used the same texture for all of it. This whole thing is has around 7 layers, I normally don't use Paint.net layers for SFM posters but I had to, to get the "ghost" effect. The grass, Twilight, Mane 5 + starlight and Spike, a part of Fluttershy, background, and the texts are all its own layer, so sorry if there is any green spec somewhere because I'm not that good at editing out backgrounds of pictures, I tried to get rid of any remaining green parts from the greenscreen. (yes I know there is a model for tears on SFM, I tried using them and I didn't think of adding it til I already rendered that layer so I just added some in paint.net, sorry it looks pretty bad.)

"As Twilight Sparkle walks around her home town of Ponyville late at night to check if everything is alright, She is reminded of all the good times she had with her friends so long ago.... She begins to wonder if everything she had done to reach the point of becoming an Alicorn was worth it..."No, I can't think about this right now I got to focus on whats happening now!" she thought to herself to try to get her mind back on track, but it wasn't working.. was really worth it becoming Immortal to protect Equestria from great evil alongside Luna and Celestia and the others but lose all of her friends that helped her get to where she is now....She stops right infront of a statue of herself as she starts to cry. She stares at a statue of herself made so long ago, The statue that was honored by all the ponies. "Why does it feel.... like Destiny's betraying me?" She sobs "I know, they depend on me, but I can't leave you all behind... I need you all by my side..." After a few minutes of laying there crying, Twilight gets up off the ground and wipes away some of her tears with her wings, and starts walking again trying hard to move on and get back on track. As she walked, ghostly figures of her friends surround her all of them acting as if nothing was wrong and nothing ever happened. She kept walking trying to ignore the figures as best as she could, but couldn't. The Ghostly figures walked with her. "All that'll be left Is nothing but memories...Memories. Of how it all used to be....Of what it used to mean to me." Twilight said to herself as the figures fade away as she tried even harder to move on from the past and focus on the future as Equestria needed her more than ever. As she finished up making sure the town was alright and started heading back to her castle. She thought about how she will never be able to fully forget the past, Or them. She knew they would be with her for the rest of time.. Forever haunting her dreams... So she finally accepted the fact that she will never be without them and thought it was finally time.. She made her way back to the castle. She went in one of her many rooms but this time to bring out their old friendship journal and finally read it after years of keeping it hidden so she could forget about it and her past."
I thought I would try to make a little story instead of a few lines, Sorry if its bad I'm writing this pretty late at night.
Anyway, as you might have noticed I haven't done many SFM stuff lately and I've been trying to do drawing much more but lately I've been wanting to try to make a poster again in SFM. (I've been trying to get back working on an animation I have been working on yet putting off because I haven't had time, I'l try to finish it today but I have no idea.)
I hoped you liked the poster and my little tiny story.
This is the longest I've ever made one of these, I'm kinda amazed I made it this long.

Thanks! I would say it took about 3 hours to get the posing, textures changes, lighting, ect and about 1 (or 2ish) to get the layers done and having to re-render stuff to get it to fit better.

Oh wow, how did I not notice. I was up late working on this so I may have messed up something without knowing, I'll try to fix it but it'll be kinda hard to do having to redo layers and stuff. but its not impossible.

Thanks, And no This was the first time I ever really wrote a fanfic/story. I always have thoughts of small stories but this was the first time I ever tried to make a fanfic/story. I hoped you enjoyed it.
