My first deviation. Whilst I think it's merely mediocre, some have said it is ok.Basic photo of me, worked over with gradient and tone settings in Photoshop 7.

The uber contrast is nice. Not so much monochrome as dichromatic or something. Not just black and white, but black or white.
Tis nice in the suggestion of detail without using detail in shading or colour.

I'm thinking about making it my "thing". Taking ordinary photographs of ordinary things (like the street), dropping them into black and white, and basically throwing a huge gradient shade on them so it's exactly the same as this current picture. Hmm.
