Description
An exercise in coloring, composition, and character.The scanner kind of washed out the color, but there's not much I can do to fix that since otherwise, the coloring looks... bleh.
Javert and Valjean belong to Hugo, Boublil, Schonberg, and Kretzmer.

I dont know why, honestly i dont really know the full story, but they make me happy. I have no idea why. I must have known them at one point and my subconscious remembers and thats why but i dont know.

Now that I've read up to date, I can say, I'm a little less than happy about this. I saw this pic and went all fangirly and was hoping for another slash with them and it didn't happen. Then I was sad. I know I'm going to regret shipping them when I finally see the movie and/or get enough sleep that mental images happen again cause Crowe and Jackman are not a couple I support but yeah. Still love this series though so no hard feelings!

I love how all the lines on Javert are so sharp and clear; kind of lends to feral look you were talking about. The look on his face is focused but angry, a usual reaction to meeting with Valjean again. It's like his focus is clouded slightly by the convict's unusual kindness.
Valjean looks sad that the man beside him can't see beyond the call of duty, like he wishes Javert could see who he really is and that there is nothing wrong with kindness (like he did earlier in the comic.)
That reminds me, any chance we'll be seeing 24601 in the comic again?
