Alright here we go, getting to the meat of this chapter and the ACTION! woo!I should feel worse, having made lil Sherlock a punching bag...but i'm sure this experiance will enhance his skill in boxing later in life...remember Sherly getting shocked in the mouth hurts...dodging is important!
Anywho hope you all enjoy this comic...well as much as you can with Sherly reciving a fat lip...
Also the background turned into something a little more artsy to fit the mood...hope i didn't jump the shark with this XD

also adding to my other comment, recently re-read some Sherlock Holmes stories at school this week and has discovered that Watson actually had an older brother, but he died from alcohol abuse.....just sayin.....probably a waste of a comment...sorry to waste your time.

Just a small thing, Holmes looks a little funny in the 3rd panel. It might be because it's a direct angle of the face. I always find those hardest to draw.

i'm a bit rusty with it myself, this really is the first on going comic i've done in years and when drawing on my own i tend to draw 3/4 faces more due to thier more appealing appearance. Thanks for the feed back though, i'll work on that now @@ haha

OKAY. I feel that this is the opportune moment to share some comic-making-knowledge with you. I don't remember where I learned it (Scott McCloud's book?), but when you have a punching panel, it's always best to either show the before-punch or after-punch. It warned to never show the actual impact o.o

I love everything in this strip, but specially the first picture ; the expression of the father is so.... so... Well, I don't know how to describe it, but I just love it. It's really great.
And Holmes who comes to help our dear Watson... ♥
Now I have seen the relationship between John and his father, and what happened here, it will be more difficult to wait for the next. So please.... Hurry ! Or do more strip ( even if it takes more time for us to wait ) : like that, we'll be able to have two strips in one day. Christmas before december ! Wouldn't it be great ? xD
