These are from last year sometime actually. My tablet is dysfuctional so I'm uploading old stuff again! Drawn in greyscale, pixel by pixel then colour layers on top.
This was done in PS before the updated Furcadia editor was released. I wanted to try follow AzKai 's example and sell colour-adjustable icons that could be used outside of Furcadia. I'm in a bit of a predicament now however, as I've put the black and white base into the Furcadia editor and I can't get the same results there with remappable colours... unfortunately remap is the only way it can work as a localspecies patch or for a premade personal portrait. I don't think selling nonremap premade portraits will work, since people like to put their own colours on things? I've sorta shot myself in the foot with layermasks and the freedom to choose whatever colour and intensity I want on PS first, then having to reel it back and put it in the Furcadia editor. It's a tricky one.
