Well, it appears that I'm just on time (or slightly late) with my entry for the 's July Line Art contest. This month, the theme is "Flight".The worst part, is that my inspiration for this came at 1 am in the morning on the 30th when it's due on the 31st x)
So I crammed and got down with Sai and Photoshop to make this little piece.
Two things I've learned with this; Photoshop pwns with manipulations and I am so glad I have SAI for the Linework Layers. It's bloody easy to do it with SAI!
You MAY use this Line work to color with your own palette but there are a few rules to follow. Namely, these;
1 - Leave my signature/icon/ w/e on the artwork so it's visible.
2 - Send me a note or comment once you've finished posting it (I want to see it your interpretation of this
)3 - Make sure you credit me in the description for the lines
WARNING: The File is Huge (5100px in width)

More like different than challenging. I usually do a few sketch traditionally first to get the feel, but I did this completely digital with a tool I'm not very familiar with.
Well, at least I'm familiar with it now.
