Here's to answer your shock.
Dia technically isn't alive. Kio's main back story for Dia is that she was built in the '87 location yet due to bugget cuts and other such financial disabilities, The Corral wasn't rebuilt. Which so Toy Freddy condemed Dia to have to stay locked in the back room unless Toy Chica got permission for her to leave. Mostly also due to how none of the kids knew her. Yet for our unfortunate little Dia, she wandered out and got immediately caught by Toy Freddy and was taken back into the room for her execution to prevent her from coming out again.
So yes. Dia is canonically dead.
