While we're dealing in stereotypes; atheism is the sigh of a lonely teenager.
But of course, you're quite right in some respects, religion has long been the respite and hope of people oppressed by oppressively secularist governments.

we can disagree and we can discuss that in a rational way, I wouldn't use stereotypes as I consider them totalitarian and offensive to individuals.
