Description
Frank Gehry's Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA. Probably one of the most amazing pieces of contemporary architecture I've ever seen.Scanned from a print and made B & W (the building is silver) in photoshop with a slight contrast adjustment.

i really like this. it sort've gives me the feeling that i could slide off into some void. very confusing and dizzying. it feels almost surreal. the fact that you put it in black and white especially adds to it, i think.

Gehry's buildings are hard to capture with a single image - but you've done a wonderful job with this one - wondeful image.

Wow. It has such a magic and ENDLESS feel to it, as if the curves go on forever. And there's this weird sense that one doesn't know where things start or end. And the different directions of the curves add to it to make it that much more surreal. SO cool.

Great picture. It has a very nice rythym to it which draws your eye(s) around the picture. Nice capture of a portion of the building which already seems to be a work of art.

Thank you so much.
I didn't get the chance to go inside - is it as amazing inside as it is out?
I must admit, it took me a long time to choose which angle to shoot. And I took my chances by only taking one photo. Glad it turned out well.
Thanks for coming back to my gallery!!!

I know, it's crazy! I was in the first week of a three month trip, and I was trying to be conservative - I was using film. I did take two other photos around the building, but of entirely different subject matter.
