Episode art here we go, another week, another piece. This time one with quite a bit of action I'd say. Oh, and big (bigger) beasts hehe.The moment that scene happened, I knew I'd probably end up doing that. It having the bonus of a large scale creature, even though I sized it a bit, but also Cadance. First time making her in pony form!
She had good addition to the episode as well, she acted quite nice in the end. Nice to see they put the spotlight on her for a bit, she was falling a bit behind.
Anyhow, great fun making this one. I now realise I kinda missed doing a large scale piece. Dutch angle returned as well, action, spinning, ponies. fun

In Alpine folklore, the Tatzelwurm is a stubby, lizard-like creature. It takes the appearance of a cat with the hind-end of a serpent with no hind legs. It is rumored to live in several areas of Europe, including the Austrian, Bavarian, Italian and Swiss Alps. It has several regional names including Stollenwurm, Springwurm, Arassas and Praatzelwurm. In 1934 a Swiss photographer named Balkin allegedly saw a strange creature near a log and photographed it. The resulting interest in the creature inspired the Berliner Illustrierte to sponsor an expedition in search of the Tatzelwurm, but the expedition was a failure and interest quickly faded. Some scientists and cryptozoologists agree that the 1934 Tatzelwurm photograph was a hoax, but Tatzelwurm sightings have continued to the present day, and German cryptozoological researcher Ulrich Magin has published several articles in Fortean Times and his own magazine Bilk documenting them.

Do it is me, or only Cadence is the only alicorn pricness outside of Twilight who is allowed to help mane 6 fight threat and kick flanks?
Celestia and Luna did nothing useful for 4 seasons (outside of flashbacks and sending letters) while Cadence on her 4 appearances kicked flanks 3 times.

She indeed seems to get into action a bit more on the level of the Mane 6. I think Celestia only fought Chrysalis in the show and that didn't last very long either.
I guess the sisters stick a bit more to their ruling roles and the status that comes with. Bunch of guards everywhere. Though Cadance has the Crystal guards.
