Been almost a year this Crusade series started, will it continue? who knows. Check em out below.
A little festive version this time, with the little tree (hint*hint* their Holiday art shout out)
Kept it fairly rough like my recent approach, though I guess I spend the "saved" time in other stuff, like lighting, adjustments etc.
Fun to put that to the test with a different light situation, lots of dark but I think it worked out ok?

Nice hinting at depth in the cave, with some very subtle value changes.
Painting dark environments are always very fickle and have a severe tendency to be hit or miss in my case.
The OCs are pretty cute too, and the flowing motion they make together drags you towards the tree.

this is amazing, i wasn't there to see you make it but you worked on it till the very last detail. You even included the flag at the entrance of the cave. This piece is one of my favs you have made, i can't flaw it so no need for a critique. I love the characters look more defined now and bernd looks better XP. The picture has minimalistic detail but still includes all the mechanics like reflection on the water and the lighting looks right, i'm not going to question the lighting because it hurts my brain thinking about it, but it looks right to me. Oh, and it looks like the eye reflection is correct which is a nice touch, it even looks like i can see the whole in the top of the cave in caramels eye, well I'm guessing that's the light source. Remembering the contrast at the entrance of the cave was a nice addition also, surprised you made it that way, most people would of forgot.
Conclusion: epic-loved it

Was good fun trying to incorporate the previous parts while else continuing the "story"
Berndalf shall be missed but good to hear that change isn't always bad hehe
The shine in the eyes can be a fun and useful indicator to show a position of a light source, with them being round and all reflective as well
