I absolutely adore this image. Space Wolves are one of my favorite chapters, even though I'm more of an Eldar player myself. And Fluttershy is a perfect choice for this.Β

I love Space Wolves but I think Fluttershy best suits Salamanders since they actually care for regular humansΒ
but Space wolves badass space vikings cant go wrong with the best space marine chapter with the best pony.

Actually, the Space Wolves are fairly honorable towards civilians, to the point that they had a huge battle with the Inquisition when the latter tried to exterminate a bunch of "tainted" planets.

The same as I always say about the detail focus holds true here. You put the scout into some very nice and consistent detail, and the same goes for Flutters, while the surroundings are all blurry. A nice variation of the normal one-point detail focus are the guardsmen's heads: thanks to the eyes, they look clear and present something of a counterpoint. It's a nice thing.
And as ever, you show your skill with lighting. The shadow under the boltpistol and the tones of the forest reflected all over them, and, of course, the shading of their bodies. To me, it's particularly evident on Flutters. It works both to give form and perspective. Also, I do like that sky.
Still, if it weren't for fanfiction laws, Fluttershy would probably have her Everfree animal friends deal with the opponents with no harm to themselves. Flutters doesn't cower in the Everfree, the Everfree cowers when Fluttershy is in it.

At this point in the story, most of Fluttershy's friends have left the woods. Plus, she's dealing with a truly alien foe that has proven itself quite uninterested in appeals to reason or kindness.

The 'company' looks like Imperial Guard.
My knowledge of 40k is limited (and I lean to Tau) but even if the Marine scout isn't authoritative over them, he could wipe them out before the though of harming the Fluttershy even occurs to them.
