Dancing ponies, in dresses?! Challenge accepted.Was fun figuring it out. I do often have some motion in the characters, and while some may strike poses that could qualify as dancing, a pony actually dancing has that slight different twist to it.
Additional fun by getting to create a show background character! I haven't done enough official characters yet this year.

This is amazing. I saw a scene like this once when I went overseas, and it was one of the best parts of that trip. This not only captures that nostalgia, but it's just a gorgeous piece in the capturing of the moment.

Wow this is fantastic! Great use of lighting and color and the motion in her hooves and body are fabulous. I especially love the details you put in the dress. Captures her movement very well and gives it a nice flowy feeling overall.

I love your art, and I think you're an incredible artist. But I have to be frank.
I think your environmental and creature images are a lot better than your pictures of ponies, simply because the ponies have such incredibly smooth textures. Your older pictures didn't have this so much, but your ponies are hard to imagine as being made of anything but rubber. I feel like too many of these ponies just look like they're supposed to be overtly idealized and fake.
I'm not very well versed in art. I'm a terrible painter, I can't sculpt worth shit, and I'll admit right now that what I'm saying is likely just because I don't know well how to appreciate this style of art so much. So do tell me if that's the case, I'll just apologize and back off.
But my favourite pieces of art by you have always been the richly textured ones like the giant owl in "Into Silence", or even the more recent "Bulls of the Hooved", which had the pony mostly hidden by clothing.
I'm probably just spouting bull though (Excuse my brilliant punwork), so don't take anything I say too seriously.

Hey guys, did you know that the detail in the dress isn't as much as you think it is? If you look closely there isn't many brush strokes, just shapes. It's a really really cool trick that makes it look like there's endless detail when in reality there's only been the minimum amount of strokes. Not exactly sure how to explain it further but it's that sort of principle. It's a really cool trick that I've been trying to master. And the Flamenco huh? Sweet. Latin dances are so much fun! I've always wanted to do something like this. I did with Rarity and my oc but, not like this. Jeez, you captured the motion like it's an animation! I wanna be able to do that!!!!!!
