Now this is something I haven't uploaded in a while. Sketchdump time!Trying to get my sketching back into a proper sketch style. Changing my pacing, lines etc.
Environments mostly though, don't require a lot of prethought. I just move the brush around and rocks appear.
Uploaded kinda because I suddenly sketched a bunch of stuff but also due to a bit of request while I was making this.

Man I do enjoy being able to see others rough drafts of their work. I can see that you can make great bases to work from. By having such great bases to work from sure do impact how ones art work turns out in the end.
Another thing I do notice in these rough sketches is that you have a great deal of confidence in your line work. By seeing this I can tell you have a practiced quite often to get this far and becomes natural. I do admire what you have here, seeing such examples give me inspiration to improve my art to.

Dude how do you make your pictures appear so big on Deviantart? Is is something to do with the file type?

When uploading, you should see a Display option. I use the "original size" there.
This was also sketched on a 8000x12000 pixel canvas initially, though now cropped and resized to this. So I had a lot of room to play around in.

For these sketches (the non-colour at least) I used one of those default chalk brush. The only other brush I sometimes use besides default round.
Turned pen pressure on on Size, opacity and flow. all with a minimum of 0% (I sometimes use min. of 30% or something, not this time though)
I guess the only other option I never bother to turn of or on is the smoothing. Not sure if it does a lot for me but it's always on haha.
