A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for Armada Demolishor I scanned myself from the copy of the instructions that came with the toy.

Presenting the best Transformer of all time, Soundwave! Whoo! Ever since reading Armada Demolishor’s profile on the Transformers website, they made him out to be JUST like Soundwave. Even now, Energon Demolishor’s quote is word for word the SAME as his. But it never really showed in any of his portrayals. Yeah he’s loyal, and even taken a shoot or two for Megatron (one of whick even killed him, though he was given a new body) but he’s just to stupid and brutish to be a good Soundwave. Still though, I always thought the Demolishor mold would ROCK repainted as a Soundwave. I mean, his Minicon even resembles Rumble, with pile driver hands, a radar dish on his back, and the ability to shoot it out of the front of his vehicle mode. How much more like Soundwave can you get?! When they repainted them to be Powerlinx versions, again, I had hopes they would make him like Soundwave, but it never happened. Meh. So I finally made some workable line art from the Demolishor Instructions and went to work doing it myself. Lemme just say this…Best…Repaint…EVER. I loved the idea of this, but never in my imagination did I picture he’d look THIS good. This should Sooooo be a toy.

I simply love how this looks, and while a remolded head would make it all the more perfect, I think it’s as close as a toy can get to a perfect repaint.

The minicon is Rumble, complete with Pile driver hands. Rumble IS Blue. And this is the best match up of a robot and Minicon partner I’ve ever had.
