Description
I started this piece while on vacation in Italy. Elements of the background are directly taken from the landscape outside my windows. The pose of the harvest spirit was inspired by a very old advertisement of the perfume Cheap and Chic by Moschino that I found on a magazine my mother kept for some unknown reasons. Some might remember it...I looked for it on the internet but too much time has passed and there is no trace of it.
It took me a while to find the time to finish this drawing, but the past few days I have been sick with a terrible cold and could not go out ....that did the trick for me!

I've always admired the way you use blue so subtly in your skin tones and I think it works perfectly here, given the subject matter. A lot of the color palette is warm, but those cool colors hint that winter's coming. And the way you treated the type fits the image

Thank you dear! Winter was somewhat in my mind, because, although I started this in September, it was in a cold November day that I colored it.Some melancholy was affecting the mood, too...^^ (missing home!)

Wow! This is just so beautiful, I can't take my eyes off it! Every color matches the others and still there's so much contrast in it, so much shades and light... The details are awesome, but my favourite part in it is her face and the way she appears to be looking at the setting sun. The shading there is great with the orange and goldden highlights and love her facial expression, relaxed and with slightly narrowed, beautiful eyes to face the light... like an angel
Wonderful work, thanks for sharing!

You are always so amazing with Copic markers, and the way you colour with them is like no other! It ends up looking rather paint like! beautiful job.
