i use paint tool SAI for sketching and inking and the works C:
and photoshop for transparency and effects and stuff

wow that great! helpful :3 however just have one question........did you use a ref for pose or something? because my weak point is getting a nice/good pose......one that is not boring....

for this pic i did not use any ref :U: but for some others i lightly get ideas from pics all over da >.>;
my tip for you if this is your weakness is to know your anatomy,, once you get pass that barrier you can do all sorts of poses! plus messing with view perception is good too,
but other than that anatomy and practice are your friends ouo<3

yes it was really hard for me to get used to teh tablet :U

Wow.. I have a tablet too and I fail horribly with it. How many times a day did you practice before you got this good?

I personally don't have a self of steam, so when I try to draw something and fail at it, I get depressed and toss it out.

So when I practice with my tablet and fail, I stop and never pick it up again.

actually when i have free time i tend to doodle ALOT on SAI and sketcher
if you would look at my past works,,, its like,, pen pressure...wut? ono;;
well the saying practice makes perfect is FALSE!! coz you cant be perfect lol but you DO improve so yeah id have to say practice is musstt!!
what i do when i hate what im doing is look at the arts of your idols and sat "ill be as good as them >:V "
sometimes its ok to take break from doodling and stuff makes your mind relax and stuff 8u8

Tis ok, Im listening to the rambling. xD I ramble a lot too. I should spend more time doodling like you say, for as long as I can. I just have ADD so I'm not entirely focused when I work. Thats my only down fall. xD
Like right now, Im working on writing my comic.
But then, I wanna write another about Valkyries.
And! I want to make an design shop to gain points, etc etc, blah blah. Long list of things I want but I need to sit and focus on the important things.
