Susie has grown up. In another painting with her sister - "Hella and Susie"

Their father has 4 daughters and I did quite a few commisions from various snapshots that he had taken over their life time. He wanted to immortalise them .

I always wanted red hair....my Mums was red .....but mine was definitely mousy with gingery glints Sorry this mouse is blue

Thanks, when I got the photo from the client I knew the hair was the challenge, the red and the curl, plus a redhead's complexion. But I was happy with the end result. She has a great smile as well.
I didnt want to let go of this painting. But I know it is treasured.
