Hi, this is the big picture i'm working on and i'm looking for some crit or suggestions for making it an eventual kickarse image.Please bear in mind this is very very early on in the colouring and a lot of it isn't very developed, such as the lighting on the silver were. Plus JPG has made it quite a bit lighter. ^^
It will have all the realistic fur detail, tree bark texture etc when it's done

can't really crit this as you've said yourself there's much more needs doing to the lighting/textures. - that's the main thing I'd point out!
other than that it would have been nice to see the whole of the full moon in there, with a nice thick blurry glow around it. Also some smaller trees in the distance and/or rocks or rubble in the foreground might help to add a little more depth to the scene, as might some clouds and/or stars in the sky. Make sure when you're looking at lighting that you really push the key-line/orbital highlights on the edges closes to the moon, on the trees as well as the figures, and don't be affraid of stickin' a blue/purple filter over the whole thing to unify the colours more.. at the moment the white wolf's very white, the golden axes are very gold.. - colours don't look like that at night in reality.
Anyways, brilliant work so far, I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take it next!

Thank you for the crit. Your colouring is so awesome, I always appreciate crit from you. I'll have to apply the things you said, hopefully it'll look better. I'm so hopeless at colouring night time scenes! ^^

one tip I will say for night scense is that nothing is "day" coloured

Thanks for the crit, I have now altered the chain as that was a really good point. I'll have to have a look at those teeth too as I hadn't noticed!

that is kick ass! the expressions are pure love.
the only thing that bugs be is the silver wolf's chains.
they almost look like they are connect to his axe... or just floating their.
are they suppose to be draped over his leg? its hard to see whether it is or not.

ooh, good point, I hadn't noticed that! Yes the chain doe go over his leg but then i've draw the axe in front of it, I'll have to move a couple of links to where you can see them. Thank a lot for spotting that
